A. Permitted Use

You may use the Site for its intended purposes, which include searching for remote job opportunities, creating professional profiles, posting job vacancies, and communicating with potential employers or candidates through our platform.

B. Prohibited Use

You agree NOT to use the Site to:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent job offers or professional profiles.
  • Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.

  • For Candidates: You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your professional information, skills, and experience.
  • For Employers: You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your job descriptions, compensation details, and company information.
  • Remote Talents does not verify the identity, skills, or background of candidates, nor do we verify the legitimacy of employers or the terms of their job offers.

5. Intermediary Role and No Guarantees

Remote Talents acts solely as an intermediary platform to connect remote talents with potential employers or clients.

  • We do not guarantee that you will find a job, secure a candidate, or achieve any specific business outcome through the use of our Site.
  • Any employment, freelance, or business relationship entered into as a result of using the Site is strictly between the talent and the employer/client. Remote Talents is not a party to any such agreement and assumes no responsibility or liability for the terms, conditions, or fulfillment of such agreements.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

The Site and its original content (excluding User-Generated Content), features, and functionality (including but not limited to the design, text, graphics, logos, and software) are and will remain the exclusive property of Remote Talents and its licensors. The Site is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

7. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources (such as external job boards, payment gateways, or company websites) that are not owned or controlled by Remote Talents. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You acknowledge that we shall not be liable for any damage or loss caused by your use of any such third-party services.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. Remote Talents makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the operation of the Site, or the information, content, or materials included therein.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL Remote Talents, its affiliates, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including without limitation damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Site.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, for accessing the Site during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred US Dollars ($100), whichever is greater.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Remote Talents and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees) arising from:

  • Your use of and access to the Site.
  • Your violation of any term of these Terms.
  • Your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right.
  • Any claim that your User-Generated Content caused damage to a third party.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Site immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Site will immediately cease.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Cameroon, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site shall be instituted exclusively in the courts of Cameroon. You waive any objections to the exercise of jurisdiction over you by such courts and to venue in such courts.
