micro1 is engaging Civil Rights Attorneys to contribute to an impactful project for a customer focused on advancing technology and legal understanding. In this role, you’ll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work

  1. Review, analyze, and annotate legal documents and case studies related to civil rights law.
  2. Develop detailed explanations of legal concepts, statutes, and precedents within the civil rights domain.
  3. Draft and refine realistic scenarios, queries, and responses to help simulate authentic civil rights legal situations.
  4. Evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, legal soundness, and ethical compliance, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
  5. Research and summarize emerging trends, case law updates, and policy developments impacting civil rights.
  6. Collaborate with project stakeholders and tech professionals through clear written and verbal communication channels.
  7. Ensure that all contributions meet high standards of accuracy, clarity, and practical applicability.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree with active bar membership in the United States.
  2. Substantial experience practicing in civil rights law, including litigation or policy analysis.
  3. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, especially in conveying complex legal ideas to diverse audiences.
  4. Familiarity with landmark civil rights cases, federal and state statutes, and regulatory frameworks.
  5. Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities with attention to detail.
  6. Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex legal information and present it in accessible formats.
  7. Interest in technology, artificial intelligence, and innovative approaches to legal problem-solving is a plus.
